Stove & Grate Polish

Description:

Used for the preservation and restoration of cast iron and steel (stoves, chimneys, grates, fireplaces, fire backs, etc.)

The characteristic of our polish is to imitate a newly casted stove with a gunmetal grey finish.

HEALTH & SAFETY

DO NOT INGEST!  Avoid excessive contact with skin. When stove or appliance is heated after application, ventilate the room, as fumes can irritate sensitive individuals.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sodium Silicate, Pigment (black)

APPLICATION

*Brush lightly with hard bristle brush before application to remove dust, rust, etc.

*Apply paste on cool metal with brush or cloth, rubbing it vigorously into the metal.

*Allow to dry before buffing the surface.

Fire Putty

Description:

Specifically designed for use on all types of metal and block flues e.g. stainless steel, vitreous enamel coated, ceramic, concrete and pumice block etc. Used for sealing and repairs of fireboxes and spigots, etc. Smooth and easy to apply. Withstands ± 1600°C. Economical in cost and application.  Available in Grey colour.

DO NOT INGEST!  Use surgical gloves to avoid excessive contact to skin. If in contact with eyes, wash out immediately and thoroughly with water, repeat if necessary; seek medical advice and show container or ingredients.

Ingredients:

Aqua, high Alumina content, Silica, Oxides, Sulphur compounds

APPLICATION

*Brush and clean surface to be sealed OR repaired.

*Use flat, thin metal knife to spread Fire Heart Refract S.A. (Pty) Ltd Fire Putty across damaged or new attachment area, working material deep into crack or gap.

*Smooth out Fire Putty for uniform appearance.

*Allow to dry for 24 hours.

*Re-apply if shrinkage occurred due to large filling.

Rope Adhesive

Description:

Heat resistant up to 900°C.

Lifespan of adhesive surpasses the lifespan of the actual rope.

HEALTH & SAFETY

DO NOT INGEST! 

Keep out of reach of children.

APPLICATION

*Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean and free of tar or contamination.

*Clean surface with scraper or sandpaper for best adhesion.

*Shake bottle & apply adhesive, 2mm wider than the rope to create good bond.

*Apply pressure and secure rope in place with tape across rope all along the rope.

*Natural curing: 12 hours.

*Surface can be warmed up with hair dryer to speed up the curing to less than one hour.

*Carefully remove tape – Ready to use.

Glass Cleaner

Directions:

Spray and allow 5 minutes of contact time and clean up thoroughly.

For heavy deposits, repeat action.

Warning:

Store in cool dry place.  Do not inhale, use in well ventilated area.

Do not swallow.  Keep out of reach of children.

Do not expose to direct flames/heat.

Safety Data:

Wash hands after use. If in contact with eyes – rinse with water, if irritation persists seek medical advice/attention.

If ingested low quantity rinse mouth and drink water.

If large amount ingested seek medical treatment immediately.
